Evelyn Wilks Casey, born in Henagar, AL, passed from this life in Decatur, GA on Friday July 20, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She rose from humble beginnings to become highly successful in business and in life. Her life was in many ways defined by her incredibly strong will and her commitment to integrity above all things. She is survived by her daughters Janice Knight and Camille Simmons, sons in law Terry Knight and Robert Simmons, grandson Corey Knight, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S Turner and Sons at 10:00 am Monday July 23, followed by services at Kerby Funeral Home in Henagar, AL. at 3:00 pm (CST). The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. Her day is done and darkness falls like a feather wafted from an eagle in its flight.
