Farah Mouhanna Shehadeh

March 6, 1934 — December 3, 2015

Farah Shehadeh, 82, a beloved father, a kind, gentle, brilliant and generous man, died on December 3, 2015. He was born in Sweida, Syria in 1934, married to Salma Khoury, studied Civil Engineering and graduated from Idaho State University.
Farah was loved by everyone who knew him. He touched the lives of many with his caring, helpful and gentle sprit. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
Farah is survived by his three children, Rana Shehadeh, Rima Shehadeh and her husband, Sherif Mikhail Wassef, and Bassam Shehadeh and his wife, Diana Shehadeh; his two brothers, Musa and Zaki; and his two sisters, Muntaha and Chafika.
The funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at St. Elias Orthodox Church in Decatur. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. Elias Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
