Fay Ball Rhodes

Mrs. Fay Ball Rhodes of Atlanta died Friday, October 8, 2004. She was a graduate of Atlanta Girls High School, Class of 1945, and Agnes Scott College, Class of 1949. Mrs. Rhodes was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, William S. Rhodes of Atlanta, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Ivy and Klaus Darnall of Atlanta, GA, Kathy and Bob Davis of Lawrenceville, GA, Rebecca and Ashton Hayes of Fort Campbell, KY; son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Gloria Rhodes of Snellville, GA; brother, Dr. Horace C. Ball of Decatur, GA; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 11th at Briarcliff Baptist Church. Dr. J. Hoffman Harris, Dr. Glen Waldrop and Rev. Bill Biggers will officiate. Interment Westview Abbey. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Waldrop Scholarship Fund, c/o Briarcliff Baptist Church, 3039 Briarcliff Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
