Ferol B. Burnett

Ferol Ball Raines Burnett, age 94, formerly of Decatur, passed away February 11, 2007 in Salem, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Ila Ball; husbands, Thomas H. Raines and F. Grady Burnett; and sisters, Flora Ball Shettlesworth and Doris Ball Bobo, all of Atlanta. Surviving are her son, Donald W. Raines of Charleston, SC; daughter, Carol Raines Dibling and husband Wilburn C. Dibling, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; sister, Bernice Ball Jackson and husband Clifford Jackson of Decatur; three grandchildren and their spouses; and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 14th, Rev. Lisa Dempsey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church at Candler Park, 1561 McLendon Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 or the Alzheimer's Association. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
