Flora Dean Webb

Mrs. Flora Dean Webb, formerly of Decatur, GA died Saturday, June 26, 2010, after a long and beautiful life of 94 years. She was born in Gwinnett County on February 20, 1916 to Azzie and Claude Nunnally. She was blessed with three sisters and three brothers with whom she enjoyed close, loving relationships all their lives. She was married in 1932 to James Glenn Webb and they resided in Atlanta or Decatur for all their 63 years of loving marriage until Mr. Webb's death in 1996. She was an awesome lady, wife, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and citizen. In all of these roles, she placed others before herself. She was an angel who will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to know her. She is survived by her brother, Pink Junior Nunnally; sons, Tony Webb and wife Toni, Chris Webb and wife Ann; grandchildren, Greg Webb and wife Sydney, Bryan Webb and wife Kirsten, Darron Webb and wife Sue, Melissa Cordell and husband Dustin and Dale Webb; great grandchildren, Carson Webb, Carly Webb, Nathan Webb, Taylor Jean Webb, Keira Jean Webb, Caden Cordell and Ryley Webb. She was preceded in death by her loving, daughter-in-law, Jean Lines Webb, wife of Tony. Funeral services for Flora Dean Webb will be conducted Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
