Florida Hatcher Cobb, age 88, of Atlanta died Thursday, August 13, 2009. She attended Girls High School in Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA. Mrs. Cobb was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She was a former long time member of Inman Park United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Cobb, Sr. She is survived by her son, James T. Cobb, Jr. and daughter-in-law Patricia C. Cobb of Decatur; daughter, Cynthia C. Hall and son-in-law, Kerney Hall of Snellville; grandchildren, Ryan H. Cobb (Jennifer), Jay C. Cobb, Kerney Hall, III (Hillary), and Kincey E. Hall. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Louis Miller officiating. Interment will be at Decatur Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to the Seekers Sunday School Class in her memory. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
