Lee Horner passed away suddenly at the age of 61 on November 28 2012, leaving behind Judy Silverman - the love and anchor in his life, their 4-legged baby Jasper, his sister Lynn and Glenn Lindsey, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Born in Humboldt, TN, Lee considered himself an Atlanta native. He entered 1st grade at Briarlake Elementary School the first year it opened. As a 1969 graduate of Lakeside High School, Lee also began high school the 1st year Lakeside opened. After graduating from Georgia State University with a degree in Political Science, Lee entered the Marine Corps. He was later in sales - including his own Horner Scales Company. His main love was music, especially playing guitar and drums. Lee opened Oak Grove Music in 1991 and continued serving the musical community. Lee loved the outdoors - photography, kayaking, camping and hiking with several beloved dogs over the years. Lee and Judy had many excellent adventures traveling across the United States and Canada. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 1st in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. A. S.
