Frances Bodderdet Loisel

Frances Bosserdet Loisel of Decatur died Friday, February 16, 2007 after a battle with cancer that she faced with her usual good humor and grace. Born in Hattiesburg, MS on February 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George Emil and Ruth McDonald Bosserdet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James R. Loisel. Hers was a life well lived, and no one loved friends and family with more ferocity than our Fran. She is survived by her sons; Christopher P. Morris of Decatur, GA and Kevin L. Morris of Norcross, GA; and her daughters, Sharron K. Murphy of Atlanta, GA and Renee L. Evans of Acworth, GA; her sister, Jeanne B. Warwick of St. Simmons Island, GA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She said more than once in her last days that "it had been a great ride" and those of us who were privileged enough to share it with her could not agree more. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22nd in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Shepherd Spinal Center Foundation, 2020 Peachtree Road, N.W., Atlanta, GA 30309. The family will receive friends after the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
