Frances D. Najour

Frances D. Najour, 98, of Atlanta passed into the Kingdom of God on May 8, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Mike and Martha Domain; and was the wife of the late William M. Najour. She worked at Kessler's Department Store on Peachtree as a buyer for many years. Frances was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews, and was always the first to remember everyone's birthday and was the first to send a Christmas gift. She had a strong wit and loved to discuss politics and sports. While living alone since her husband's death she depended on her beloved brother, Joe Domain, to be her strength. He always made her smile! She is survived by: two sisters, Karemy Jacobs of Rome, GA and Labibie Azar of Atlanta; a brother, Joseph Domain of Atlanta; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church. The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Michael Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church with a prayer service at 7:30pm.
