Frances Blalock, 90, of A.G Rhodes Nursing Home, Clifton Rd, Atlanta GA, died February 26, 2010, at Emory Hospital. A native of Douglasville GA, she was a daughter of the late Columbus and Maude Estes. She was a member of North Clarendon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mercer D. (Bill) Blalock in 1989. Survivors includes: two sons, Charles Blalock and wife Cheryl of McDonough, GA, Billy Blalock and wife Joyce of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Mercer Blalock of McDonough GA, Cheryl Card of Cordele, GA, and Kevin Blalock of Chattanooga, TN; four great grandchildren, Kyle, Kristy and Brett Card of Cordele, GA and Anna Grace Blalock of McDonough, GA; one brother, Bruce Estes of Dallas, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February, 28 2010 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert F. Woodyard officiating. Burial will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
