Frances Evelyn Williams Needham, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on June 15. She was born on November 17, 1935 to her late parents,

King David and Helen Williams. Frances grew up with her four siblings in Charlotte, North Carolinaand attended the Salvation Army Corp growing up; leading to lifelong friendships and meeting the

love of her life, Walter Dunmore Needham, whom she was married to for 59 years. She worked as a Nurse in various capacities from 1958 retiring in 1996. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Science

and Nursing from the Charlotte School of Nursing (now known as Carolina College of Health Sciences.)

Throughout the many moves Frances served as a women’s leader in International Christian conferences, women’s auxiliary boards, and leading officer spouse groups while raising their two sons. After Frances retired, she and Walter were dedicated

members of Victory World Church, supporting many of the church’s ministries. Hope Christian International Ministries supporting Mary’s Village in Liberia was very dear to Frances and Walter’s

hearts. These words from her son Eddie and nephew Christopher are an apt description of Frances’ life, "She was a fierce follower of Christ and full of the Holy Spirit. Her life elevated the trajectory

of her family tree."
