Frances Opal Mitchell

 Frances Mitchell of Decatur, Georgia, age 90, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010.  A Red Cross volunteer for many years, she was the proud daughter of a Confederate Veteran and a True Daughter member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.  She is survived by daughters Robin Maybrey and Michelle Johnson; grandchildren Vickie, Joe, Pam, Gayla and Chamberlain, as well as five great-grand children and seven great -great-grandchildren.   An 11:00 a.m. memorial service will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons in Decatur, Georgia with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday July 10, 2010.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Student Ministry at First Baptist Church of Snellville in support of the 2010 Nicaragua Mission trip at P.O.
