Frances Stockman

Mrs. Frances Hayes Stockman, age 83, of Millers Creek, NC, formerly of Conyers, GA, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. Mrs. Stockman was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 26, 1927 to Margaret Lee and Claude Hayes. She was a member of First Baptist Atlanta Church, Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents and also by her husband, Cecil H. Stockman, Sr., brother, Jack Hayes and sister, Edith Ernst. Mrs. Stockman is survived by sons, Barry L. Stockman and wife, Sandra of Canton, GA, Cecil H. (Herbie) Stockman, Jr. and wife, Catherine of Marietta, GA and daughter, Cindy Reeves and husband, James of Millers Creek, NC, a sister, Allene Butler of Commerce, GA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, February 20, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, GA. with burial following at Cheatham Hill Memorial Cemetery, Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following: Arthritis Foundation (Atlanta chapter), First Baptist Atlanta Church - Pastoral Care Benevolence Fund or Ruby Pardue Blackburn Adult Daycare of North Wilkesboro, NC. The family will host a visitation from 5:30pm-8:30pm Saturday, February 19th at A.S. Turner & Sons.
