Frank Thomas Walker, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was born April 13, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Thomas Walker. Frank was a graduate of Northside High School; attended the University of Georgia, where he was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity; and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.Survivors include his father, Fred L. Walker, Jr.; one sister, Patti (Ned) Giles; two brothers, Fred (Libby) Walker III and Alex S. Walker; and two nieces, Mary Frances Giles and Katherine Walker Giles.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Northside United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends after the service. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Frank's name to Atlanta Pet Rescue, 4874 S. Atlanta Road, SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
