Frankye Ann Morrow Pace went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer and a brief time in hospice care. She was a resident of Buford, Georgia, and she is survived by her children, Marsha (Dwight) Goodson, Frank Pace, Nancy Pace Coker, grandchildren Wendi (Tony) Lioi, Robyn (Shane) Strickland, great-grandchildren Gracie and Lilly Strickland, Rocco and Stella Lioi, dear nieces, nephews and cousins, bonus son Bob (Valerie) Bowers, Whitney Bowers (Evan) Jones, Penny and Porter Jones, Haley Bowers (Ryan) Sloan, Dawson, Parker and Savannah Sloan. She was preceded in death by husband Roy Lee Pace, parents Frank and Stella Morrow and grandson Austin Pace Coker.
She loved her family and was known as Mimi to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an amazing cook of good southern food and loved to celebrate family birthdays with a great meal.
She grew up in Decatur, Georgia, where the Morrows and Paces were charter members of Glen Haven Presbyterian Church. Having met the love of her life, Roy, at church, they married and raised their 3 children near Glen Haven and close to their families.
Rich's Department Store was her employer for 35 years, at their Belvedere and North DeKalb locations. Working in the Fine China and Bridal Registry for many years, her gracious manner was known to her colleagues and customers.
Ann was a lifelong Presbyterian, teaching Sunday School and serving as an Elder at Glen Haven Presbyterian and Midway Presbyterian Church, with many dear friends at those churches. When Gwinnett County became her home, she joined Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church and loved attending worship and Bible studies. Ann's love of God, her love of family and friends and her deep faith inspired and encouraged others, and she will be missed.
