Gary Pittman Reed

Gary P. Reed Jr., or Buddy for those who knew him, passed away at 64 on Saturday August 12, 2023 at Sacred Journey Hospice. He was born on November 25, 1958 to the late Gary P. Reed Sr. and Nancy VanArsdale Reed. He married Pamela Jeanne Reed on November 7, 1981 and went on to have a son, Jeremy Waylon Reed.

Gary was a master plumber and had a small business for renovation and home repair. He loved to fish and spent as much time as he could on every lake in Georgia. He also loved to help people, regardless of if he was tired or sick.

Gary is survived by his son Jeremy Reed, his ex wife Pamela Reed, his mother Nancy Reed, brothers Tracy Reed & Van Reed Sr. (Sylvana), nephews Van Reed Jr. (Amy) & Robert Reed, nieces Lacey Reed Jones (Alex) & Shelby Reed Walker (Cody), grand niece Jada Reed, uncle Robin Reed, aunt Marianne Reed, and many cousins.

A visitation will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
