Genevieve Holbrook Browning

Mrs. Genevieve Holbrook Browning, 86, of Stone Mountain passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012. She was born in Camden, West Virginia to Goldie Buzzard and Arden Holbrook. Genevieve worked at and retired from the Emory University Clinic business office. Her husband, Joe Gray Browning and one grandchild preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Jo Mayer of CT ; son, Jace Browning of Stone Mountain, GA and her companion for many years, Hugh Lynch of Tucker, GA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jessie and Arden Myer of CT; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Braylen; her sister, Geraldine Bateman and husband Edgar of Plymouth, NC; two nieces, Arden Jones and Jamie Leary and several great nieces and nephews all of Plymouth, NC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM at The First Christian Church of Decatur with Rev. James Brewer-Calvert officiating. Burial will be later in the week at Hillside Memorial Gardens, Plymouth, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A.S.
