TAYLOR -

Matthew McMichael Taylor, 25, of Stone Mountain passed away as a result of an auto accident on April 13, 2500. He was a graduate of Tucker High School, attended Auburn University and Georgia Perimeter College, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tucker. Matthew was a lover of life, friends, and family, and he especially loved spending time at the family lake house and fishing with his brother, Jim. His family and friends will surely miss his outgoing friendliness and his zest for life. Matthew is survived by his parents, Jim and Elaine Taylor of Stone Mountain; his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Candyce Taylor of Alpharetta; his grandfather, John Ashby Taylor of Decatur; his uncles and aunts, Pat and Emerine Sweeney of Montgomery, AL, Stephen and Bobbie McMichael of Naperville, IL, Ashby and Louise Taylor of Monument, CO, and Robert and Debbie Taylor of Johnson City, TN; Great Aunt Leona McMichael of Atlanta; and cousins Steve McMichael, Andy McMichael, Erin Sweeney-Geshwiler, Mike Sweeney, Christopher Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Meredith Taylor, and Brandon Taylor. The family will receive friends between 7 and 9 pm on Friday, April 15th at A. S. Turner and Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd in Decatur. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16th at 11 am at First United Methodist Church of Tucker, 5095 LaVista Rd. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville.
