George Nick Poolos

George "Nick" Poolos, age 72 of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by family. A native of Atlanta, he was a lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral. He owned and operated his own construction company for more then 40 years, that helped build the skyline of Atlanta. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Phyllis Poolos; son, Nick Poolos; daughter, Maria Poolos Fauscett; granddaughter, Alexcia Fauscett Panayotopoulos; brother, Theodore (Linda) Poolos; Godson, Lee (Smaro) Economy, and many various aunts, uncles and cousins.
