George Robert Bennett

George Robert "Bob" Bennett, 82, of Atlanta passed away on Monday February 2, 2015. A native of Norfolk, VA, he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ward & Mary Oglesby Bennett; a sister, Lucille Zeek; and a brother, Charles Bennett. An Air Force Veteran, he worked as a loan officer with the Small Business Administration. He is survived by one brother, John Bennett (Jackie), of Midlothian, VA, as well as nieces & nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Memorial services will be held at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on February 13 at 3:00 pm, with interment of his ashes in the memorial gardens at the church. His loved ones will receive friends after the service for light refreshments.
