Georgia Belle Green

Her family notes with sorrow the passing of Georgia Belle Bonner Green, 90, in Norcross, Georgia, on Sunday March 22, 2015. Georgia was born on December 1, 1924 in Swords, Georgia to George and Ida Bonner, the youngest of their 11 surviving children. Educated at Georgia Evening College, she worked for much of her life at C and S Bank and later, Fidelity Bank. Her survivors include son, Brian Green of Atlanta, daughter, Michelle Green of New York City and granddaughter, Katherine Lyons of Buffalo, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Funeral services will be on Wednesday March 25 at 10 am at Briarcliff United Methodist Church, Atlanta. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 10 am until 8 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
