Gerald F. Wible

Gerald F. Wible died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at age 87. Mr. Wible owned and operated the Atlanta based family business, Wible Associates, from 1954 until he retired in 1998. He was a loving husband and father. His sense of ethics, quiet strength, love of nature, and enjoyment of sailing have been passed on to his children and grandchildren. Gerry's wife of sixty five years, Betty, died last July. He is survived by his daughters, Betty Molloy of Decatur, GA, Mary Stursberg of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathy Minneman of Solomon, KS, & Ruth Weaver of Cumming, GA; son, Joe Wible of Pacific Grove, CA; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 8 PM Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Tuesday at A.S. Turner and Sons. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father James H. Sexstone officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Gerald's name to Chestnut Hill College, 9601 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118. A. S.
