Gertie Reed Mize

Mrs. Gertie L. Mize of Clarkston died Sunday March 29, 2009. She was employed for a number of years by Scottdale Mills and attended Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Grady Mize. Mrs. Mize is survived by her daughters, Maxine Adams of Clarkston, Patricia McCollum of Ellijay; sister, Bonnie Lambert of Ellijay; brothers, Vernon Reed of Ellijay, Clifford Reed of Decatur; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4th, in Melwood Cemetery, Rev. Tom Mozley officiating. A. S. Turner & Sons
