Gladys (Conser) McNeil1 Logue, 96, of Atlanta, GA, died at home Thursday, June 25, 2009. Gladys was born January 17, 1913 in Alliance, Ohio to William Frederick Conser and Agnes Scott Conser. She graduated from West High School of Cleveland, Ohio. For over 60 years, Gladys was an Atlanta resident and owner of G.H. McNeil1 Slipcovers of Atlanta. She and her sister Mabel Taylor were well known to many Atlantans for their expertise in sewing custom slipcovers. She was an active member of the Something Else Sunday School Class of Briarcliff United Methodist Church for over 35 years. Gladys is survived by niece Jacqueline Ruby Taylor of Atlanta and by cousin Michael R. Scott of Munroe Falls, Ohio. Gladys was preceded in death by her husbands Harry McNeil1 and Denard A. Logue, her sisters Ruby Anna Packer and Mabel Agnes Taylor and her brother Mark Scott Conser. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Briarcliff United Methodist Church, 4105 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta with Rev. Sondra Jones officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 3, 2009 at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Circle SW, Atlanta. Friends have open visitation from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday thru Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur. The family will be present for the visitation Tuesday, June 30 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at A. S.
