Gloria Anderson

On August 4, 2012, Gloria Anderson peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Gloria was born in Kane, PA on July, 28, 1926, and raised in Mount Jewett, PA. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Marshall Anderson. Gloria has three children from her marriage to Donald Danielson; son Louis married to Diane; daughter Koralen married to Walter Daniels; and son Kim married to Kathi. Gloria had 7 grandchildren, Aimee, Katy, Shawn, Erick, Dane, Linsey, and Melissa. Gloria also has 5 great grandchildren, Adam, Brandon, Amelia, Ruby; and Iris Gloria, born July 25, 2012. Gloria has four step- children by marriage to Marshall Anderson: Mark, Kathy, Peggy, and Mary Beth. Gloria was one of four girls, and is survived by her sister Sharon Randall Dodge of Bradford, PA. Gloria lives on through the love and friendship, shone through her devout dedication to family and faith. She was active in her congregation at First Presbyterian Church of Tucker, Georgia. Gloria was also a lifelong member and active in the congregation of Saint Matthews Lutheran Church in Mt. Jewett, PA. A celebration of her life and memory will be held at Park Springs Retirement Community in Stone Mountain, Georgia on August 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Gloria will also have a memorial service at Saint Matthews Lutheran Church in Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania. May she rest peacefully, and remain eternal in our hearts, lives, and actions.
