Gloria Anne Eads

Anne Long Whittington Eads, 94 years of age, passed on Monday, October 17, 2022, in Marietta, Georgia. She was born on September 5, 1928, in Carlton, Georgia to Walter Long and Jimmie Lane. Anne worked for the General Electric Company for several years and retired in 2008. She enjoyed raising and showing dogs, ballroom dancing, vacationing at the beach, bowling, and watching the Atlanta Braves. Left to cherish her memory are her children Ed Whittington and Sharon Whittington Cox. Her grandchildren Christopher Whittington and his spouse Tiffany Whittington, Matthew Whittington and his spouse Laurissa Whittington and Jason Warren and her great grandchildren, James Whittington, Jillian Whittington, Jordan Whittington, Owen Whittington, Hudson Whittington, Courtney Warren, Carter Warren, Nathan Warren and a great- great granddaughter Bella Corbin. Visitation will be on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 10 to 11 AM at A.S. Turner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday afternoon at Carlton Cemetery at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 21, 2022.
