Grace Anglin Bryant

Grace Anglin Bryant of Decatur, GA, beloved wife and mother peacefully passed away January 28, 2016. Born on March 3 in Smyrna, GA, she was the daughter of the late Levi Linton and Irene Hames Anglin. After graduating from Marietta High School, Grace went on to Draughon Business College of Atlanta and became a Civil Service Employee for 21 years, retiring from General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service, as a Budget Analyst. She was a long-time member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, Decatur, GA, and the Joyful Sunday School Class.

Grace is survived by her loving son, Bennett Bryant and his wife, Paula, of Atlanta; granddaughter, Caroline Bryant; grandson, Cooper Bryant; niece and best friend, Dianne Holcomb of Atlanta, who was like a daughter in so many ways; additional nieces, Linda Cawhern of Roswell, GA, Carol Stelling of Woodstock, GA, Debbie Anglin of Cartersville, GA; nephews: Joe Hames of Woodstock, GA, Eddie Hames of Woodstock, GA, and Jeff Anglin and his wife, Tina, of Powder Springs, GA; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and very special cousin, Sarah H. Donhoo of Marietta, GA.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Harry Cooper Bryant; brother, Jack W. Anglin of Marietta, GA; sister, Frances A. Hames of Woodstock, GA; nephew, Ronnie Anglin of Powder Springs, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, 1995 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30033, with Reverends Larry T. Burgess and Fred O. Pitts officiating. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. A private graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Tucker, GA.
