Grace Elizabeth Harrington Lourcey, 96, of Stone Mountain, formerly from Decatur, passed away on March 11, 2016. Born in Hall County, Georgia, May 30, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Robert Cleveland and Demie Farmer Harrington.
Grace worked as a secretary for DeKalb County Environmental Health for 32 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickey Cooper, and her husband, Jim; son, John Barnes; grandson, William Cooper and his wife, Kay; two granddaughters, Sarah Walker, and her husband, Zach, and Rachel Barnes; great grandson, Joshua Cooper; great granddaughter, Haley Cooper; and many more loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday March 14, and again from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Decatur Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
