Gregory George Duncan, devoted father, beloved brother, husband, and accomplished chef, passed away on July 25, 2016 in his home in Ellenwood, GA at the age of 53.
Greg was born on December 14, 1962 in St. Mary, Jamaica, to Elaine Walker and Albert Muckle. He spent his early years in Jamaica and moved to New York when he was 17 with his siblings. While living in New York, he completed his degree in Business Administration at Medgar Evers College, CUNY.
To friends and the many customers at his BAR-B-Q restaurant, Juicy Bones BAR-B-Q, Greg is known for his work ethic, reliability, and finger licking good bar-b-q. He was always someone you could depend on and trust. He was a great businessman, but an even better family man.
Family and close friends called him Gary, but his most adoring name was daddy. He joins his oldest and youngest daughters, Ashanta and Marley in heaven, and leaves behind a daughter, Monique and a grandson, Bryce. As a father and grandfather, he taught his children to be hardworking, self-sufficient, and to have pride in themselves. Everything he did was for his children, they are his greatest accomplishment.
Greg's kindness, friendship, and loyalty will always be a few of the many memories we will keep of him. Although we will never truly understand why such a remarkable spirit has left this earth so soon, we can give thanks for having had the opportunity to experience the time we were blessed to have with him.
Greg leaves behind a wife of separation, Glenda Duncan, who he married in 2001. They had enjoyable years together, and although they grew apart, they agreed to remain cordial and friends. He also leaves behind his father, Albert Muckle; stepmother, Faye Muckle; a sister, Debbie, five brothers, Norman, Brenton, Roger, Owen, and Bruce; three step-sons, thirteen nieces, three nephews, two aunts, five uncles, two grand nephews and numerous cousins.
In heaven he will not only reunite with his daughters, but also with his mother, Elaine Walker and his brother Marlon, who preceded him.

Following the funeral, the internment will be held at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 E. Ponce de Leon Avenue Stone Mountain, GA 30083.
A repast will follow for immediate family and friends.
