Gregory J .Condrey, age 62, of Atlanta GA died at home April 20, 2010. Born in Atlanta, Greg traveled the world from age two. His military family background introduced him to a love of Europe, the Orient, and the USA. Service in the US Navy offered greater opportunities to see the world. Greg developed a passionate love of the wide open skies of the desert and the ocean, as well books, art, and music. An artist and craftsman, Greg became a carpenter and worked in the building trades. A true Southern Gentleman, Greg expressed respect and gentleness to all he met. Family was always his first love. He was preceded in death by his father Dwight L. (George) Condrey. Survivors include his wife, Barbara McClintock Condrey; his mother, Barbara Anne Condrey of Kennesaw, sister, Kelley Anne West (Peter J. West) of Marietta, brother Timothy P. Condrey of Atlanta, nephew, Dion U. Condrey (Elizabeth Harris Condrey) and grand nephew Eli Condrey of Marietta. Step-children and grandchildren include Jeff McClintock and his sons, Jake and Josh of California and Alpharetta, as well as Leisha and Dan Fleming and their daughter Elizabeth, of Decatur. Memorial Services for Greg will be held at Noon on May 8th, 2010 at Rock Spring Presbyterian Church, 1824 Piedmont Ave, Atlanta GA 30324.
