Mr. Grover Cleveland Cook, Jr. of Stone Mountain died on January 16, 2012. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and owned his own restaurant, Blue Jackets, for many years. Mr. Cook retired from Stone Mountain Park and he was of the Methodist faith. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ruby M. Cook; step daughters, Kay Isbell and her husband Alvin, Sue West; son, David Cook; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
