Guinetta Lackey Hill died March 22, 2007 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA at the age of 92. She was born in Lockhart, SC in 1914. She lived for over 45 years in Moncks Corner, SC and was a member of the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church. She was a state officer in the SC Eastern Star and retired from Santee Cooper. Mrs. Hill was a resident of Wesley Woods Towers on Clifton Road for the past 17 years and a member of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy J. Hill. She is survived by two sons, G. Stanley Hill of Roswell and J. Kenneth Hill of Fort Mill, SC; two daughters-in-law, Linda H. Hill of Roswell and Joan H. Hill of Fort Mills, SC; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, 1660 N. Decatur Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30307-1010, on Sunday, March 25th at 2:30 P.M. Rev. Betsy P. Styles will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 to 2:30 P. M. prior the service in the vestibule of the chapel. Parking for the service is available at Fishburne Parking Deck on N. Decatur Rd. adjacent to the Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Berkeley Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner, SC on Monday, March 26th at 3:00 P.M. with The Rev. Dr. Theron Smith officiating.
