Guy Llewellyn Douglas, 78, born July 13, 1931 in Red Lion, Pennsylvania to the late P. Daniel and Esta O. (Haugh) Douglas, was a man full of adventure and a zest for life. All of his siblings, Philip, Lloyd, and Deanna, have preceded him in death. Guy participated for years with the Susquehanna Baseball League in Pennsylvania where he was an all star player five times. Guy graduated from Red Lion High School in 1948 and continued his education at Penn State University, York campus, and also took courses at the University of Georgia and Rutgers University. Guy passed away on January 11, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the husband of Nancy L. Douglas for 24 years. He was a Korean War Veteran who loved deep sea fishing, sports, and traveling. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind Holly (Alan) Womack; Les (Julie) Douglas; Cathy (Mike) Petrowski; Lisa (Bill) Allen; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be at A.S. Turner and Sons, Decatur, Georgia from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday, January 14, 2010. Funeral Services will be in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons at 10 A.M. Friday, January 15th with full Military Honors at the graveside service at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA at 12:30 P.M. Monetary donations may be made to Hospice Atlanta in Guy’s memory. A. S.
