Harley N. Brown, Jr.

Harley N. Brown, Jr. died Sunday, January 15, 2006.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Sue Brown.  He attended Georgia Military Academy, University of Georgia and Georgia State University and served in the US Navy in WWII. He was a self employed manufacturer's representative in the furniture industry.  He is survived by his two daughters, Margaret and her husband, Dr. Douglas Hamway of Winder, and Barbie Brown and fiancÚ, Stephen Molyneaux of Pendleton, SC; sister, Margaret Phillips and two grandchildren, William Tyler Hill and Josette Margaret Brown. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Decatur Cemetery with Rev. Nath Briley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Monday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
