Harm Motes, 82, of Decatur, died October 21, 2011. A native of Cobb County and a long time resident of DeKalb County, Mr. Motes was a retired brick layer from Clack Construction Company, where he worked for many years. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Motes and is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Kemp Motes; daughter, Martha Lovinggood; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Van Prince; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mr. Motes will be 1 PM, Monday, October 24, 2011, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Smith officiating. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 PM to 9 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
