Harold T. Johnson

Mr. Harold T. Johnson, Sr., 86, of Atlanta died Friday, November 26, 2004.  He was a charter member of Briarlake Baptist Church.  He was the owner of Johnson Roofing Company.  A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara M. Johnson.  He is survived by his children, Delores Trujillo & husband Albert of Decatur, Glenda Giles and husband Tom of Lula, Tommy Johnson and wife Amy of Cumming, Ronnie Johnson and wife Carol of Gainesville, Gloria Potts and husband Mike of Conyers; sister-in-law, Pearl Johnson of Panama City, FL; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29, at 11:00 am at Briarlake Baptist Church Chapel.  Dr. J. Hoffman Harris will officiate.  Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Churchyard.  The body will lie in state from 10:30 am at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Haven House Hospice, 5411 Northland Drive, NE; Atlanta, GA, 30342.  The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 pm and from 7 to 9 pm Sunday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
