Harold Walton Dryden

Harold Walton Dryden, age 84, passed away on July 21, 2014. He was born to George W. Dryden and Lois McCool Dryden of Waycross, GA. He was active in sports and Scouting during High School, receiving the Eagle Scout Award. He attended the Universities of Missouri and Georgia where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1951, married Abbie Alexander and was stationed at NAS Guam. He was in the insurance business in Atlanta for over 50 years. Harold and Abbie were blessed with three sons, two daughters, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11 a. m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peachtree Christian Hospice. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
