Harry E. "Tom" Sawyer, Jr.

Harry Emerson "Tom" Sawyer, Jr., 87, of Stockbridge, died Friday, December 28, 2007.Mr. Sawyer was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary H. Sawyer and daughter, Debbie L. Price. Surviving are his daughter, Dara Sawyer, Athens, GA, son, Bryon R. Sawyer, New Braunsels, TX, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and loving companion, Inge Hillhouse, Stockbridge. Mr. Sawyer was the former owner of Kennedy Memorial Gardens. Those that wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3rd at one o'clock at A. S. Turner & Sons. Ellaway D. Amiker, III officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from five until seven o'clock at A. S. Turner & Sons.
