Helen Barbara Maggio

Barbara Helen J. Maggio, 95, passed away January 16, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1914 and moved to Atlanta in 1948 where she worked for 40 plus years with WAGA-TV. She was predeceased by her father, mother and four sisters. She is survived by her sister, Jeannette Sokal; brother, Frank Maggio, 11 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews and a vast amount of wonderful friends. A memorial mass will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory
