Helen Carnes Mosley

September 6, 1922 — June 5, 2012

Helen Carnes Mosley, 89, of Snellville and formerly of Decatur, died June 5, 2012. A native of Forsyth County, she worked at the Bell Bomber Plant in Marietta during World War Two. Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death in 2002 by her husband of 56 years, Fred Mosley. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Waller; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Pat Mosley of Decatur; Kenny and Bonnie Mosley of Snellville; grandchildren, Heather and Jaspal Singh, Katie Mosley, Joseph and Shannon Waller, James and Rachel Waller and Joe Mosley, Jr.; great grandchildren, Hannah, Roselyn, Emily, Elijah, J. J., Joseph and Dillan; sister, Katherine Wilson Lane of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews. The funeral for Mrs. Mosley will be held at the graveside, 3 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012, at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain with her devoted nephew, Gary Carnes, giving the eulogy. For those desiring, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Atlanta Chapter. The family will receive friends 6-8 Thursday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
