Helen E. Lisle, 91, formerly of Tucker, GA passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Tucker for over 40 years, working in the nursery and as treasurer of the NTO’s. She was also a member of the Bell Choir at United Methodist Church of Tucker and joined Decatur Baptist Church in 2002. She taught her favorite hobby of Quilting at the YWCA. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Ben, of 62 years and her son James Barry Lisle. Surviving her are her daughters, Virginia Chapman and her husband Don of Stone Mountain, Jo Ann Fortmann and her husband Steve of Marietta and Sarah Lisle and her husband Calhoun of Tucker; daughter-in-law, Barbara Lisle of Prattville, AL; sister, Ann Kitchen of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Shipley officiating. Internment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, N. E. Atlanta, GA 30345 or to a charity of your choice. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
