Helen Layne Fair

Mrs. Helen Layne Fair of Decatur died Saturday, December 18, 2004. She worked for the National Bank of Georgia for over 40 years. Mrs. Fair was a volunteer for the Swann House for many years and was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh (John) Fair. She is survived by her niece and her husband, Lizabeth Layne McDonald and Thomas Gary, Jr. of Mansfield, GA; great-nieces, Morgan Elizabeth McDonald, Caroline Eve McDonald; great nephews, Dustin Thomas McDonald, Heath Christopher McDonald; and godchildren, Shannon Peebles Owens and Margaret P. Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 21st in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. J. Hoffman Harris officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
