Helen Mclane Smith

Smith, Helen M, 90, of Atlanta, GA died Friday, June 1, 2007 at The Courtyards Assisted Living Facility in Sun City Center, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Smith Sr.; her sisters, Francis Singleton, Mary Alice Thompson; and her brothers Ralph, Bob, and Tom McLane. She is survived by her son, Bill Smith Jr. and his wife Louise, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of Atlanta, she graduated from Girl's High School in 1935. She was a member of the Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church and the Rainbow Sunday School Class. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033 is in charnd of arrangements. Dr. Frank H. Crumpler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center, Florida. A. S. Turner & Sons
