Helen Patricia Nash

Helen "Pat" Nash, 87, of Stone Mountain, passed away Monday, August 31. Born in Decatur June 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas and Claudia Helen Chewning Wilson and wife of 63 years to the late Raymond Edward Nash. Pat worked as an Executive Secretary for Graybar Electric Company. She enjoyed playing the piano and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Pat is survived by her son, Ronald Lamar Nash and wife, Mollie, of Pace, FL; daughter, Barbara Singley and her significant other, John Jones, of Decatur, GA; brother, Paul "Don" Wilson of Snellville, GA; seven grandchildren, Ronald "Ed" Edward Nash and his wife, Angela, of Stone Mountain, GA; Raymond Andrew Nash, Donovan Stewart Nash, Jeremy Slaughter, Michelle Slaughter, Lisa Linville, and Sandra Songe; fourteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many more loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 2, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, September 3, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons, Decatur, GA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, with Rev. Jack Hudson officiating, at the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens following the service.
