Henry Creel

Mr. Henry Creel of Decatur died Saturday, April 30, 2005.  He was born in Fulton County on April 23, 1924.  Mr. Creel was a member and a deacon of Moreland Avenue Baptist Church.  He served his country as a radioman in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired in 1984 from the B. F. Goodrich Company after 28 years of service.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty B. Creel of Decatur, GA; sister, Judy Creel Feely of Decatur, GA; three sisters-in-law, Burma Creel of Fairburn, GA, Dot Creel of Dublin, GA, Josephine Creel of Union City, GA; and several nieces & nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 2nd in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Ted Boland officiating.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd. N.E., Atlanta, GA  30345.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
