Herman John Taylor

Mr. Herman John Taylor, 85, of Decatur, GA died Thursday, March 18, 2010.  He retired from Allied Systems after 39 years of service and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, , Herman, Jr. and Dorothy Taylor of Decatur, Ronald and Vickie Taylor of Conyers; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth and Frank Osborne, and Mary Bassett.  Funeral services will be held Monday, March 22nd at 11:00 A. M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Interment, Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
