Hilda Bradford

Hilda Bradford was a true professional, as a long time bookkeeper for the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company for 25 years. She continued her career with Thompson Brown and Oetgen Insurance Agency. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Bradford of Clarkston, GA; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barnett of Conyers, GA; daughter-in-law, Alice K. Bradford of Tucker, GA; extended family, Jeff Silkwood and Lori Silkwood of Tucker, GA; grandchildren, Madison and Michelle Bradford and Hanna and Aaron Silkwood; godchildren, Sherry Haberman, Shelly Aderholt and Susan Fowler; and many nephews and nieces. Hilda was a true member of Clarkston United Methodist Church in Clarkston, GA for 51 years. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees, staff parish committee, women's guild and was very involved in the youth program throughout her years. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 4th. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9 – 11 AM at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
