Mr. Horace C. (Rik) Eriksson of Decatur died Thursday, July 15 2004. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U. S. Army, retiring as a Lt. Colonel from the Army Reserves. Mr. Eriksson was also a retired deputy regional forester with the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture. He is survived by his sons, Richard C. Eriksson of Stone Mountain, GA, James C. Eriksson of Clarkston, GA, John N. Eriksson of Edmond, OK; step children, William H. Janelle of Nevada City, CA, Harlene Janelle Henson of Clarksville, AR, Robin Janelle Cook of Loganville, GA; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Father William T. Deneke will officiate. A reception will be held in the church parish hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Horace C.
