Howard G. (Bud) Stewart

Mr. Howard G. (Bud) Stewart, Jr. of Decatur died Thursday, February 22, 2007. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U. S. Army. Mr. Stewart retired from Prudential Insurance Company and was a charter member of Decatur Church of Christ, presently Northlake Church of Christ. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his son, Howard Thomas Stewart. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Stewart; daughter, Patricia Peters; grandson, Trey Peters, both of Midlothian, VA; granddaughter, Courtney Brooke Stewart; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Stewart of Niceville, FL; and sister-in-law, Beverly Warrick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 26th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Dr. Carson Reed and Mr. Joe Glenn will officiate. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northlake Church of Christ Building Fund, 1625 Cooledge Rd., Tucker, GA 30084. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
