Ian David Chisholm

Ian David Chisholm, born February 19, 1989, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 13, 2016. Loving son of Dave and Sherri Chisholm, big brother to Cole Thomas. Grandson of Tom and Marian Ward and Warren and Rilla Chisholm. Nephew, cousin, friend to many. Ian struggled with demons for many years but in 2012, with the help of his brother Cole and Cole's community of faith, he invited Christ into his heart and accepted the daily challenge to resist the dangerous poison that had tortured his soul. Living with purity of heart for that joyous time in Ian's life, he basked in Christ's love, and the stories of his redemption that he shared with friends and family were an inspiration to all.Athlete extraordinaire, force of nature, lover of life. Adored by many. We cry because we lost you, but we smile because we had you.There will be a private family service on Thursday, March 17, at A.S. Turner Funeral Home.The Chisholm's like to think of this time as "Honoring Ian's Fight". So, in honor of Ian's fight, the Dave, Sherri and Cole would like to invite friends and family to join them at Chad and Robin Merrill's home (1779 N. Akin Drive / Atlanta Ga 30345) on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
